Silver Springs Lions Club Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Silver Springs, Florida. As part of the world's largest service club organization with over 1.4 million members, we are committed to making a difference in our local community.
Founded on the principles of community service, our foundation focuses on health initiatives with special emphasis on supporting the blind and visually impaired. Through the generosity of our members and donors, we provide essential services to those in need.

As members of Lions Clubs International, we focus on five global causes that address some of the world's biggest challenges.
Vision Care
Our primary focus is supporting the blind and visually impaired through eye screenings, glasses donations, and referrals to eye care professionals.
Health Services
We support various health initiatives including diabetes awareness, childhood cancer research, and hunger relief programs in our community.
Youth Programs
Empowering the next generation through youth leadership programs, scholarships, and mentorship opportunities for young people.

Through our various programs and initiatives, we strive to address the most pressing needs of our community.
Eyeglass Recycling
We collect used eyeglasses and donate them to those in need. Drop off your old glasses at our collection points throughout Silver Springs.
Vision Screenings
Free vision screenings for children and adults in our community to detect early signs of eye conditions and provide referrals for care.
Scholarships
Supporting local students with educational scholarships to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
Environmental Projects
Organizing community cleanups, tree plantings, and environmental awareness initiatives to protect our natural surroundings.
Disaster Relief
Providing immediate assistance and long-term support to communities affected by natural disasters and emergencies.
Hunger Relief
Supporting local food banks and organizing community meals to ensure no one in Silver Springs goes hungry.
